April 14/15, 1912, mark the centennial of the collision and sinking the
R.M.S. Titanic. In honour of this event, Historical Tapestry is hosting a week-long
Titanic event. There will also be a 'Today in Titanic History' feature that starts March 31 and will occur throughout April. The week will run from April 9 to April 15, 2012 and will include:
- Books reviews.
- Historical background.
- A look at the connection between the Titanic and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
- A Why I Love Post by Gill Roy.
- A HT Recommends post so you can find fiction centred around the Titanic.
- A Give-Away
