The Historical Fiction Challenge- October Reviews

In September, we collectively read 41 books! That makes our total for 2011 so far, 702 books!

There is still time to join the challenge, go to Historical Fiction Reading Challenge to sign up and then come back to leave your links each month.  There is a new post for your links each month.

Please leave your links for your October reviews in Mr. Linky, below or, if you don't have a blog, in the comments below.

*Note: if you missed posting your links last month, please always post "late" links in the current month's Mr. Linky.  For example, if you forgot to post a link in February, please post it on this Mr. Linky in this post.

  2. This may be the one reading challenge I signed up for this year that I may actually complete! My seventh entry is up - The Pianist In The Dark by Michèle Halberstadt.

  5. It began 4 years ago when I picked up my daughter's dusty copy of Jane Austen's Emma and I was smitten. I've now read all of JA multiple times, all of the Bronte sisters, Samuel Richardson, Frances Burney, and about 19 of Georgette Heyer's offerings. Somebody please stop me; I can't seem to get enough! My favorite contemporary author? Lauren Willig - I've read EVERYTHING she has put to print!

  9. I finished the other two books in Lucinda Brant's series (Midnight Marriage and Autumn Duchess), A Very Merry Chase by Teresa Bohannon, The Garden Intrigue by Lauren Willig, The Shattered Mirror by DW Wilkin, and Execution Dock by Anne Perry. I've made my goal and then some. I posted my reviews on Goodreads and Amazon since I don't have a blog. Yeah!
