This post isn't going to be the normal type of Cover Story post that we have done here before, mainly because author Elizabeth Chadwick has already done all the hard work for us.
She has created a blog that showcases all the different covers of her various books! Whilst there are some lovely covers shown....there are also some shockers...but I am going to let you be the judge of which is which.
Check them all out here and then come and leave a comment as to which are the best and worst examples of those shown!
Oh, great link! Right, I love the newer/re-issued UK ones, though I wish they had made the figures more "painter-ly", and less posed by models. Beautiful covers.
ReplyDeleteThe older (original) UK covers are too run-of-the-mill - I wouldn't really pick them up while browsing.
None of the foreign covers appeal to me at all, except maybe a couple of German paperbacks that appear to mimick the UK style.
