HF with a Holiday Theme - updating our HT Recommends list

A few years ago we posted a list of books set during the Holiday Season. Some of us like to read these titles during this festive period and we wanted a master list to go to for recommendations. Feel free to suggest more titles...

  1. Not directly historical fiction, but the Christmas Quilt by Jennifer Chiaverini is a favourite. Set within the fictional quilting arena of Elm Creek, in this book some historical quilts are located in the attics of Elm Creek Manor and the stories they tell.

  2. Not strictly historical fiction, as it was contemporary when written, but Nancy Nitford's "Christmas Pudding" is a real hoot.
