Thursday Threads

It's Thursday again, so that means it's time for our weekly Thursday Threads feature! This week, we'd like to know...

Where and when are you reading?

Marg: The closest I am to reading a historical novel right now is 1980s Ireland! I am reading Faithful Place by Tana French.

Nanette: I am between books right now--I just finished Ken Follett's Winter of the World, which is set in the U.S. and Europe in the 1930s and 1940s, and I'm about to start Anna Keesey's Little Century, which is set in Oregon during the late 19th century.

Post your answer to this week's question in the comments!

  2. Oooh -- French is very hot right now! I'm reading Janice Law's Fires of London, set during WWII in London. It's interesting so far.

  4. I'm a day late, but I'm currently reading The Firebrand by Marion Zimmer Bradley, which is set way back in ancient Troy. The book falls within the historical fantasy sub-genre and is pretty good, but then I do enjoy works that feature the Trojan War.
