The Help movie trailer

Sometimes when you see the trailer for a movie that you were eagerly awaiting there is a little apprehension in case it doesn't look like it is going to meet your expectations. I have to say, that wasn't the case when I saw this trailer for The Help, based on the novel by Kathryn Stockett!

It looks fantastic! Of course, that apprehension will be back when it is time to watch the whole film, but based on what we have seen in the trailer I have high hopes!

  1. I haven't read the book but I saw this a few weeks ago and thought the movie looked interesting. I'll probably try to see it at some point.

  2. Totally agree Marg. Loved the book and it's looking like the movie will live up to it and enhance the experience. Destined to be the next Colour Purple perhaps?? Fingers crossed

  3. I have not read this book - and despite all of the buzz, I was never too keen on reading it. But I saw this preview at the theatre a couple of weeks ago and it looked so good. If I get the chance to read it I might, otherwise I will just go see the movie.

  7. I haven't been to a movie for years, and I don't even watch a lot of movies on tv. I'd rather be reading. But I read the book with book club and will probably either go see the movie with them when it comes out, or watch it on dvd. I want to see how it compared to the book.
