Do you like all thing Edwardian? You might be interested in the new magazine which is being launched over at Edwardian Promenade which is called Gilded. You can download the pre launch issue now.

Congratulations to Julia Gregson who won the Le Prince Maurice Prize for 2010 for literary love stories for her book East of the Sun. The three shortlisted authors were all flown to an island in Mauritius where the winner was announced. Sounds terrible doesn't it!

News from Sharon Kay Penman. Originally there was going to be one book about Richard the Lionheart, but now we are going to be treated to three!

Alaine from Queen of Happy Endings has announced her July giveaway, and there are a couple of books that might be of interest to HF fans - The Dark Rose by Cynthia Harrod-Eagles and Time's Legacy by Barbara Erskine.

Teddyree from The Eclectic Reader hasn't had a monthly competition for a while, but she is back now, and one of the prizes up for grabs is The Confessions of Catherine de Medici by CW Gortner.
