Stephanie Cowell has had good news - her latest novel Claude and Camille has been chosen as a special Mother's Day gift by People Magazine. Congrats Stephanie.

As a result of Ning's decision to start charging a month fee, the Historical Fiction Books group that was using Ning as a platform has now moved. There are two ways that you can access the group now. The first is in on Facebook (and while you are there you can also click on our profile!), and the second is on Goodreads.

Finally there is news on the next book in Naomi Novik's awesome Temeraire series. The next book, Tongues of Serpents will be out on July 13! In the meantime, do you have a friend you would like to introduce to the series. There is a giveaway of the first book in the series, His Majesty's Dragon, and if your name is chosen, not only does your friend receive that book, you will also get a copy of Tongues of Serpents!
