Cover Story: The Blood of Flowers

This is definitely a case of a debut author writing a book that really catches the attention, especially when the cover gods have been smiling on her! So I thought I would see what covers I could find from other countries.

Do you remember watching Sesame Street and the game they played which had a song that went "One of these things is not like the other ones, one of these things just doesn't belong"? Well....that's what I thought when I looked at the four covers! I mean, three of them are beautiful, and the fourth is just, well, not! I'll leave you to decide which ones are which! LOL!

    Wow, the UK cover is VERY different, that's for sure! I don't think I would read it as an impulse buy. I have the US cover and I think it is very nice.

    The UK one doesn't fit at all. My personal Favourite is the German one. I would pick that one up if I saw it.

    Makes you wonder sometimes what publishers are thinking. Why would they even think the UK cover would appeal to anyone. Yuck! I agree that the others are just gorgeous though.

    Really what were they thinking with the UK one?? BTW, I love the picture on the top of this blog. It makes me happy every time I stop by. :)
