Cover story: Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade

Not long ago, we had an upcoming release post for this book by Diana Gabaldon. Today I was wandering around in the bookstore (and no, I didn't buy anything!) when I noticed that it was out here already, but the cover was totally and completely different to the one that has been released in the US. So, I thought it might be fun to sometimes have posts on the different covers that have been on Historical Fiction books through the years, or in different countries etc.

So below are the US covers and the Australian cover. Quite often we get the same cover as the UK as well, so this could be the UK cover too.

What do you think? Which one do you like?

I like the Australian cover, but I guess it doesn't really matter because I am going to have to wait for the book to come in at the library anyway and just get which ever one I get! LOL!

  1. Personally, I like the Australian cover better. The American cover has part of the face (I presume) of Lord John. I'd rather see him in my mind's eye. He's one of my favorite Gabaldon characters.
