I am not all that keen on the first UK covers, but do like the second and third ones, and personally I am not a big fan of the cover for the next book either.

You are right I also have to admit I like the US hardcover not the new US re-print one. I have all of them and it is just like Jean Plaidy there are so many re-prints it might become an issue in the future for collectors. I hate it I am so mad I need one of the older re-prints to finish my Plaidy collection and I can not find it anywhere. I can see this happening with this series.
ReplyDeleteI love all the US covers, particularly The Mischief of the Mistletoe which has a Currier & Ives feel to it. I found the Australian cover to be mystifying, and I don't like the UK covers at all. I know that they are trying to position Lauren's books as more romance than historical fiction but now the covers look like every other romance novel.
