    I am so glad to see you mention the coming re-issue of three novels by Rosemary Sutcliff (without an E) under one title. But a gentle nudge; it is Rosemary Sutcliff (sic) without an 'E', not Sutcliffe. Mind you, in making this error you are in good bad company. The Times of London, once the paper of record in the UK, got it wrong recently, as did The Morning Star and Bedfordshire Libraries in a bulletin for schools. More like this can regrettably be seen under the category Sutcliff Spelling Watch at the http://www.rosemarysutcliff.wordpress blog, where for readers and others interested there is all manner of material on Rosemary Sutcliff and the book and fim The Eagle of the Ninth..
